Susan's Dream Trip To Rome

I built Travelle 4 Life because of my mother. When I was younger, my grandmother — my mom’s mother — was diagnosed with COPD, a progressive lung disease that eventually took her life. Before that happened, my mom, who did not have a lot of money, found a way to take me, my grandmother, and her husband to Maui, Hawaii for the first time. That trip became my grandmother’s last major journey. It also became one of the most meaningful memories I have with my family. I still cherish those moments today. Now, years later, my mom has been diagnosed with the same disease that took her mother’s life. Thankfully, it is still in the early stages, but I do not want to wait until travel becomes impossible. I want to give her the kind of experience she deserves: a once-in-a-lifetime journey to Rome, her dream destination. Rome is one of the most spiritual places I have ever visited. My mother is a devout Christian and deeply believes that God works miracles. For her, visiting Rome is not just about sightseeing. It is about faith, prayer, history, beauty, and experiencing the cathedrals and holy places she has dreamed about for years. Because of her condition, this trip requires more than a standard vacation. She cannot walk long distances. She will need accessible transportation, help with luggage, careful planning around stairs and mobility, and support moving between hotels, airports, churches, and historic sites. To make this journey safe, comfortable, and meaningful, it takes extra care, coordination, and resources. This campaign is to help give my mother one unforgettable, fully supported, luxury bucket-list journey to Rome while she is still able to experience it with dignity, comfort, and joy. Travelle 4 Life was created for exactly this purpose: to provide once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences for people facing terminal or life-limiting illness and their families. This first campaign is deeply personal to me. It is about honoring my grandmother’s memory, giving my mother the experience she has always dreamed of, and showing what Travelle 4 Life can do for families who need these moments most.
